WAR: Wicklow Adventure Race – 17th of April 2010
WAR is the east coast’s response to Gael Force West. It now open for entry at www.wicklowadventurerace.com
WAR takes in some of the most iconic and challenging scenery in Wicklow. The start and finish are at the Glendalough Upper lake, with highlights along the way including Poulanass waterfall, Spink mountain, Glenealo Valley, Lough Dan, Lough Tay, Ballinastoe Woods, Djouce Mountain, the Sally Gap, Glenmacnass Waterfall to mention a few!!!
There are two options, the full WAR route and the shorter Sport course, which doesn’t take in the cycle over the Sally Gap.
