There will be a training day based at Lough Dan in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains. Start time is 10am and it will include.

- Kayaking in Lough Dan (led by Total Experience)
- Cycling on the steepest section of the WAR course (10% gradient) from Lough Dan to Djouce mountain. (led by former Irish Triathlon Champion Brian Crinion)
- Running in Ballinstoe Woods and Djouce Mountain. (led by International Adventure Racer Paul Mahon)
