The crowds were out for the 2nd Runways Duathlon. Elena Maslova (Coachelena.com) was pushed hard on the first run by Judith Lowry, but Maslova sealed victory on the bike. In the men’s race the top 6 men finished within 40seconds of each other, which gives a feel for how close and competitive it was. 
John Caffrey (Belpark) picked up his first Runways Duathlon victory from in form Colin Bolger (Pulse), while current Irish Duathlon Champion Joe Lynch (Pulse) had to settle for 3rd spot this time.
