Two national champions attended in Joe lynch and Eilis Conway. Taking the men’s honours jointly were Colin Bolger and Joe lynch with Ciaran Steed cyclist from killcullen and attending his first duathlon coming third.
In the womens race hot favourite Eilis Conway came in in first place with Una murray and Therese Coffey coming in 2nd and 3rd.
