Young and old triumphed on Sunday 5 September at the Stena Line triathlon with veteran Peter Savage winning the men’s event and junior Emma Sharkey winning the women’s event. A larger than expected crowd turned up on Sunday to watch over 200 registered triathletes from all over the UK compete in the 24th triathlon to be held in the Borough. Prizes were kindly presented by Mayor of the Borough, Alderman Paula Bradley and Stena Line’s Neil Palmer.
