The summer sun was out in Cruagh Woods over looking Dublin city, which was the venue for the first race in the HellFire Adventure Duathlon Series sponsored by 2Wheel cycles. Both Catherine Devitt (Belpark) and Niall Somers (Belpark) inproved on their 2nd place finishes in the recent Phoenix Park Duathlon to take the wins in Cruagh Woods.

Last years HellFire winner Aaron O’Donohue (Rathfarnham WSAF) had to settle for 2nd this time around, while the performance of the evening maybe destined for Paul Henglian (Pulse Tri) who arrived just after the start, but still managed to make his way up into 3rd spot by the finish. Vivienne Fenton and Maeve O’Grady rounded out the women’s podium.
