There were three aquathons distances on Galway’s Salthill prom to choose from. Lots of triathletes racing the Ironman in September, which will also be based in Salthill were using this as a warm-up. The long course was 2km swim, 10km run, the sprint was a 750m swim with a 5km run. Finally a youth race with a 400m swim and 2.5km run.
