Results from the 2012 Limerick Duathlon organised by Limerick triathlon Club.

Andree Walkin was the clear winner in the women’s race, with a 4minute winning margin over Aoife Nash. Meave Kavanagh was a further 3mins back in 3rd spot.

The top three men were Cathal O’Donovan, 30seconds ahead of Colm Sheehan and another 2 minutes ahead of David Richardson.

Racing 795 Duathlon – Carlow

Results from the Racing 795 club duathlon between Wexford Tri Club, Carlow Tri Club, Tinahely Tri Club, Slaney Olympic and Racing 795. Top Ironman racer Alan Ryan (Wexford tri club) had a tough battle with Keith Heary (Carlow Tri) with both men never more that 20seconds apart at any point in the race. In the end Heary’s fast final run wasn’t enough to catch Ryan , who won by a mere 12seconds.
