Emma-Kate Lidbury holds off Eimear Mullan in Half Ironman UK

Eimear Mullan is 2nd in UK Ironman 70.3

Eimear Mullan (Irl) finished 2nd in UK Ironman 70.3 at the weekend. This photo below by Tasmin Lewis shows how close she came to overtaking the winner Emma-Kate Lidbury (UK) on the run.

Declan Doyle from Laois was 12th overall in the men’s race. Watch out for Declan in the coming weeks, the current Irish Ironman record set by Liam Dolan (Setanta) of 9 hrs 02 mins 48sec set in 2009 maybe under threat.
