We can’t be at every event so we often rely on input from others.

Race report guidelines

There are no guidelines!!!  Write the report from whatever point of view you want.  If there’s already a report, you can still write a different one.  A good example of this is on the Mountain Running site (IMRA), where there’s often two or three reports for each event.
