Results from the World’s End triathlon, which was organised by Castleconnell boat club. There were two distances today the normal sprint triathlon and a short swim option.
Sprint Distances: 750m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run.
Super Sprint Distances: 250m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run.

The TRI3 Series celebrated it’s finale in resplendent sunshine in Kilrush yesterday. With the largest field of the TRI3 Series so far and the Series winners to be decided the atmosphere was electric. Blessed with a scorcher of a day and crowd favorite Gavin Noble turning up to compete the thousands watching were in for a treat.

Over 50 members of Limerick Triathlon Club went over to race Barcelona. There were many of them that the organizers even gave them their own start wave.
Owen Cummins biked away from Conor Murphy to take the Joey Hannan men’s title today, while local favorite and former winner Brian Jenkins biked and ran well to take 3rd. Snow was the order of the day. It caused the cancellation of the Wheelworx Naas Duathlon, but couldn’t stop Limerick Triathlon Club’s Duathlon. Niall Collins (Limerick Triathlon) improved on his 5th position in race one to add yet another Limerick Duathlon win to his trophy cabinet. Eilis Connery (Belpark Tri Club) led from start to finish to improve on her 3rd position in Naas earlier this month.
