John Caffrey (Belpark) took the men’s win as well as the men’s series title. Caffrey lead from the gun and seemed to be clear, but Stephen Harkins (Team Madigan) had other ideas, closing the gap on the bike, so both entered T2 together only for Caffrey to again open up a lead on the final run.
