Colin Bolger (Pulse) picked up his 3rd Triathlon Inter-Vasities today, just ahead of his brother Neil Bolger (Pulse), while last year’s champion James Davenport was hampered by a run injury, which saw him drop from 2nd to 8th on the 5km run. January’s snow which stopped the first Alive Outside Duathlon was but a memory on this mild, but damp morning. In the main race Niall Sommers (Belpark) led from the gun to finish. Meanwhile it was Kitty Perle’s (3dtri) bike speed which allowed her to overcome the faster runners.
